Year 2003...
Year 2003 was a turning point for the company.
PORT became PORT Europe, with new investors, new management, and the opening of new subsidiaries in Europe.In July 2003, in collaboration with NEC Computers, PORT Europe participated in the largest notebook deal ever seen in FranceThe Bouche du Rhone region bought 30,000 laptop computers to equip the 8th and 9th Graders and bought 30 000 back packs from PORT Europe to protect them.

PORT Europe's strategy is based on products which are in perpetual evolution, for example the 12 month insurance for broken screen, and also on a strong distribution network capable of deploying the PORT Line throughout Europe.
In December 2003 PORT Europe launched, for the first time on the European market, the first line of computer carry cases in various colours.

The protection of the portable PC
In 1998, PORT registered a patent for the protection against shocks, The MATT SYSTEM®.

This protection system is comprised of several layers of varying density absorption foam, which, through absorption, reduce the impact of external shocks to the computer.
